Sister Adrienne DeHart has been in our ward for about 8 months now and she teaches the 12-14 year old Sunday School class. She is the second to oldest of 5 kids: it goes boy, girl, boy, girl, boy. She is the auntie of her older brother's three boys and her parents live in Woodland Hills. Adrienne does the marketing for a print company down in Lindon which inludes all of their social media, blogs, press releases, and writing of internal media and event planning. If she has any free time, you'll find Adrienne out for a run, the thing she looks forward to everyday (and, did you see the pictures of her running the St. George Marathon on Facebook?). She also loves to rollerblade, read, laugh, go to movies and be outside playing just about any sport. The tunes that keep her going are diverse and range from alternative, rock, hip-hop and country. Lasagna is her favorite meal, with a cholcolate chip cookie for dessert. Her dream vacation would be to Greece or Australia for a full month. If she were stranded on a deserted island she says she would need some sunblock. Adrienne is currently reading "Insurgent" but her fovorite book is the Princess Bride, which she says is much better than the movie, though the movie is good. The things she is most passionate about are, in no particular order, BYU football, or just sports in general, working out (mainly running) and her relationships (with family, friends, and romantic ones) because, in her words, "I'm passionate about football and sports because they are so exciting to watch or play and it's amazing to see people striving to do their absolute best, or accomplishing you never thought you could. Working out because it keeps me sane, and in shape and makes me feel good. Relationships because they give us the best memories, shape who we are and make us happier than we could ever possibly be otherwise." Something interesting about Adrienne is that she whistles absentmindedly when she's doing something tedious and she doesn't notice until someone comments on it :) Her favorite scripture is Moroni 7:11, "For behold, a bitter fountain cannot bring forth good water; neither can a good fountain bring forth bitter water; wherefore, a man being a servant of the devil cannot follow Christ; and if he follow Christ he cannot be a servant of the devil." Adrienne, we are so glad to have you in our Relief Society and look forward to getting to know you even better!
