Happy New Year!

We hope everyone had a fantastic New Year!!!

In Primary, we are changing gears. Our new 2013 theme is "I Am a Child of God". January we will be focusing on being a child of God and knowing that he has a plan for us. Our lessons will be: God is my Heavenly Father - he knows and loves me, Heavenly Father's plan is a plan of happiness, and I have agency and am responsible for my choices.

We are starting our monthly songs to prepare for the primary program in September. This month's new song is I am a Child of God.

We are also changing the way we do our talks in primary.

The Senior primary will have the opportunity to write their own talks instead of relaying on the talk books. This will help them prepare for YMs/YWs when they have to write talks for Sacrament meeting. We know they will do a fantastic job!

The Jr. Primary will still have the same structure and will be given the change to write their own talk if they would like or give a talk using the helper book (or even just say a scripture for the youngest primary children).

We are very excited to start this new year with your children. We love them very much and feel it is a pleasure to serve them. If you have any concerns, please let us know!
