RS Spotlight: Whitney Hillier

Sister Whitney Hillier has been in our ward since last September and she recently accepted a calling as the Frist Counselor in the Primary. Her and her husband, Chad, moved in at the end of their first pregnancy and now have a sweet little girl, Cadence. Whitney and Chad grew up together here in Sandy but didn't date until a year after he got home from his mission. Shortly after they were married :) Whitney has two sisters and one brother and both hers and Chad's families live very close by! Whitney works as a stay at home mom but also works part time as a nurse at the Salt Lake Women's Center. Her hobbies include quilting, hiking, exercising, doing crafts, and as of late, playing with her cute baby :) She is not very picky when it comes to food, she loves it all, but currently she is preferring Indian. If she could meet two famous people they would be Jesus and Jim Carey. Her dream vacation would be to islands of Turks and Caicos in the Bahamas. She says that the best part of every day is waking up from sleeping all night, to Cadence's smile in the morning. Currently Whitney is reading Finding Light in a Dark World, by James E. Faust and her favorite scripture story is that of Abinidi. She loves his example of integrity to his values, though they are mocked and challenged. Two interesting things about Whitney is that she played water polo in the Junior Olympics in 2005 and when she was 36 weeks pregnant, Chad posted a video of him tricking her into eating a dog biscuit on Facebook (some of you may have seen this). Whitney, we're so glad you're in our ward! We can't wait to get to know you even better!
